Level Ups

As you collect cards in the TCG, you will eventually pass certain milestones which is the basis of our level up system! When you first join Sakura, you start at Level One (1) and then you can work your way up the different ranks, all the way until Level Ten (10).

We now use only your card worth to determine if you meet the requirements to level up, rather than the total amount of cards you have (as the latter type of count might include things like event cards or Member IDs which have a worth of 0)! For the full list of available ranks, requirements to level up to each rank, and the rewards you can earn, see the table below.

To read the table, you take the "Min. Cards" of a given rank and add the "Difference" its grouped with to it, to get the new total card worth requirement needed. For example: the min. card worth for Level Four is 700 so you add the difference which is +300 and all together that equals 1000 cards total (the min. card worth required to rank up to Level Five)! The reward on the same line as a rank is what you would receive from leveling up to it.

Please note that the card worth requirement you see is the minimum amount needed to level up to that rank! The difference is only shown so you can see how much the requirement jumps based on its reward tier as the more cards you need to level up, the better the reward.

Custom Level Badges Just like before, players will receive a custom-made level badge for every new rank up! These look like the examples below and are not only made with the player's choice of image and colour (if any) but their name will be added to the badge as well.   Once you submit your level up through the site, please apply for the new badge on the forums and wait for an admin or staff member to make & drop it off! It will also be added to the gallery on your profile.

Experience Rewards As you can see, our ranks only go up until Level Ten – but that doesn't mean you stop being rewarded if your card worth total goes past the 5000 mark! Once you reach the final rank, you can begin claiming what we call an Experience Reward for every 2500 cards collected. That means you would now receive rewards once you have at least 7500 cards, 10000 cards, 12500 cards, and so on! Every Experience Reward claimed will earn you 5 choice cards, 10 random cards, 5 sakura flowers, 100 sakura petals and you can do so through a separate level up form (which will also be available through your account page). Please keep in mind, however, that your rank will not change anymore and you will no longer receive a new level badge either! You can still use the 'levelbadgechange' coupon to change any existing badges though, if you ever want to update one.
