It's already August! Can you believe that!!!! I certainly can't because I'm not sure where the time went lol but in any case, a new month is here which means a lot of new stuff for Sakura (and a long update :japanese_ogre:) so let's get to it! EVENT CARDSWe'll start with August's event card! Anyone can take this as long as you are currently a member or you join this month; just remember to claim it before September. EVENT UPDATESThe Tanabata Mini Event is now over! Mostly, anyways. Regular task submission ended yesterday so any posts made since the deadline are not valid and will be ignored, but Bonus Rewards will remain open until August 9th so do request yours before then if you haven't yet! We will be getting to sending out rewards for approved regular tasks ASAP, whereas bonus rewards will most likely be sent out later in the week or after the deadline has passed (or maybe sooner, who knows). Whatever the case, we will notify players and post any updates regarding this/the event on our Discord! SITE NEWSWe finally have Card Zips available for players who are having trouble with eTCG's auto upload feature! We are aware of the issues some members have been experiencing regarding this so thanks to the help of Jessica, who kindly compiled all the zips we have currently, and Aki, who came up with a potential fix that involves editing your eTCG codes, we have two temporary(?) solutions! The first is to manually upload cards to your site using the card zips just mentioned. More information on how to use them can be found on their download page! The second will require editing your existing eTCG files so while this fix means you don't have to manually upload cards, we only recommend it to those who are comfortable editing those files. If you are, please check out our Discord in the #general channel and check the pinned messages; it will lead you to the series of messages Aki posted there on how to edit your files! In other news, I've been making a lot of minor/small fixes and changes to codes and pages around the site over the past couple of weeks (as many of you have probably already noticed) so while everything *should* be working as intended, I wouldn't be surprised if something got messed up along the way... If you come across anything, please report it on the forums in the appropriate thread (or the most applicable/related one)! Lastly, I was SUPER determined to finally make the Drawing Board decks so you will find those below separate from the other decks in this week's release. If you want to take regular pulls (so non-donator pulls) from either/both of them then they ARE INCLUDED in the 15 pulls you're normally allowed to take, at the usual limits (or whatever your adjusted limits are if using various skills/etc). I'll also mention that I finally sent out rewards for participating in both rounds as well so if I missed you or made a mistake, please let me know! The new round is up too, with new rules so do make sure you've re-read them or you may lose out on rewards in the future. And that's it DRAWING BOARDAfter months, here are our first collab decks: Cherry Blossoms and Summer Days! The below limits apply to EACH deck separately, so a single player could take up to 2 cards from each deck (for a total of 4 cards altogether) if they donated to both decks AND at least one of their images were used in both as well.
Everyone who submitted at least one image to the deck can take 1 card no matter if your image(s) actually made it in or not! If any of your images were used, you can also take an additional 1 card from the deck the image was used in, regardless of how many images are in the deck – but you can only choose from the cards your images were used for. Even if 2 of your images made it in, you still only get to take 1 card! Wishing TreePlease take 2 cards per deck if there are no restrictions specified otherwise!

another wednesday, another update!
Heya!!! I hope everyone's well! I am very well today. I skipped work like the overworked nurse that I am (I'm lying, I had health exams to take) AND got Kokomi and her weapon @ R2 with my gacha pulls. I obviously didn't ever mean to pull her weapon (you know what I was aiming for), but I've made peace with losing over 230+ pulls in there. It's fine. I'll get over it. GAMESAs usual, Upcoming Vote is now open for the week! So, play the games in Weekly, Set A, and vote away!Lost & Found has been correctly updated this time because the last week I tried to update, I was trying to open mytcg. And as Cassidy very meanly pointed out @ the discord server (by exposing me, how dare she), that was dumb of me!!! Very dumb!!! But I totally meant etcg. IMPORTANT NOTESTanabata Event: Cass has told me she made a lil mistake while sending out rewards for Task #7 (which, tbh, baffles me you card vampires didn't scream at us yet!), so players who had submitted their tasks before she noticed this error didn't get the full rewards for this task. We'll be sending out what's missing soon enough tho, don't worry!EDIT (7/30): As a reminder, regular task submissions (the ones you submit in Event Booth) are still due by July 31st, end of day! However, Bonus Rewards will be extended until August 9th (also end of day) to account for us approving and rewarding regular tasks so close to/after the end of the event. Anything posted after either of those dates will NOT be valid so do make sure you are turning your things in on time!! The month is almost up! Which means getting your monthly donations in, playing monthly games, all monthly stuff except for site games still reset on the 1st, however some things may only be posted on the 2nd instead depending on the staff (if/when they're available to update, that means!). Tanabata event also ends on the 31st, so chop chop! Get those tasks turned in! Reminders!! A few things I wanted to mention before finishing up this update. First of all, you guys are great. We're all great. But we all make mistakes. So please remember: Card Shiritori is a fun ass game, and I'm glad it's very orderly. For the most part. For this game to work, it's very important that no one edits their plays after someone has already played, or even deletes their play after several people have played it. Kind of ruins the whole orderly part of things, am I right? Also, another important thing to note. A very neat feature we have on the members list is the ability to show if we want to be traded randoms or not, if people can put trades they sent us through or not. It's very nice and editable. So make sure you check that out and input your preferences so people don't end up making mistakes while trading - it's common! It happens! And as always... if you're unsure, just ask!
